KOREIS FIELD NOTE

AI does not fix a broken process

Sometimes automation simply helps dysfunction move faster.

AI can remove friction, interpret information and automate repetitive work. But those capabilities do not answer whether the underlying process makes sense.

When ownership is unclear, approvals are unnecessary, data is unreliable or the process exists only because it always has, automation can preserve the wrong design with greater efficiency.

The better sequence is often to understand the process, remove avoidable complexity, decide where judgement belongs and only then introduce automation where it genuinely helps.

The question we prefer to ask

What problem are we actually trying to solve, and what would become better if we solved it?
